The workshop aims to introduce museum theater and the potential it offers for the enrichment of museum narrative. In particular, the workshop aims to familiarize the participants with the field of museum theater in Greece and globally, the practical aspects of the implementation of a museum theater performance, and the ways through which it can create a “safe framework” for the interpretation of “difficult” and “sensitive” themes.

The workshop will take place on 14 & 22/10/2017 and its duration will be a total of 12 hours.

In order to ensure the best quality for the workshop, the number of participants will be limited (max. 25 persons). The workshop will be in English, with simultaneous translation to Greek.

The speakers will be Dr. of museum theater Foteini Venieri, manager of museum theater and educational programmes Rebecca Shelley and actress, scriptwriter, and co-founder of Heterotopia museum theater cooperative Panagiota Kotsira.
