We did it! With everything that is going on in the world, and having already postponed the dates, we finally managed to bring people together in Athens to talk about museum theatre and live interpretation!

The #ComPast Conference consisted of three days of presentations and workshops, some live performances (including surprise Vikings) and a group excursion to take in some of Greece’s incredible archaeological and industrial heritage.

It was the result of a partnership between the Department of Communication Media and Culture of Panteion University and the International Museum Theatre Alliance IMTAL-Europe, with support from Heterotopia.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful speakers and delegates, our fellow members of the organising and scientific committees, our incredible team of student-volunteers, and to our tour venues: the Industrial Gas Museum, the Archaeological Site of Sounio and the Industrial Learning Museum of the Lavrion Technological and Cultural Park.
